Our service is completely free for families.
Finding the right senior living option can feel overwhelming. Our role is to guide you through the process, answer your questions, and help you find the best fit for your care needs, preferences, and budget.
Here is what the process typically looks like when you work with Senior Living Locator.
Step 1: Initial Consultation/Intake
The first step is a consultation so we can better understand your care needs, budget, location preferences, and what is most important to you or your loved one.
During this conversation we gather the information needed to help narrow down the best options, whether that is independent living, assisted living, memory care, adult family homes, or in home care.
You can get started by filling out our Request a Consultation form to schedule a time to connect.
Step 2: Understanding Care Options
There are many different types of senior living settings and the right fit depends on the level of care needed, lifestyle preferences, and budget.
Based on the information from your consultation we will walk you through the options that best match your situation and explain the differences between the types of care available.

Step 3: Touring
Once we identify the best options, we typically schedule tours at about three communities or homes that match your needs.
Whenever possible we like to accompany families on tours. This allows us to ask the right questions, provide insight during the visit, and help you compare your options.
If none of the first tours feel like the right fit, we simply continue the search and schedule additional visits until we find the right place.
Step 4: Making a Decision & Moving
Once you’ve chosen the right community or home, the next step is coordinating the move.
You will work directly with the community you selected to schedule your move in date and complete their admission process. From that point forward they become your care partner and will help support a smooth transition.
