Sara Scheetz started Senior Living Locator to help families in Southwest Washington navigate senior living and care options with clarity and support. With 20 years of experience in long term care and deep roots in the community, she is passionate about helping seniors and their families find solutions that truly fit their needs.
Sara’s background includes helping launch and operate an in-home care agency and becoming certified in Adult Family Home Administration. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the different levels of care available including independent living, assisted living, memory care, adult family homes, and in-home care.
She is also the co-founder of A Caring Closet, a local nonprofit that provides medical equipment to seniors and families at no cost. What started as a small grassroots effort has grown into an organization that now serves thousands of families throughout Southwest Washington and beyond.
Sara’s commitment to the community has earned her recognition as a Washington State University Woman of Distinction, a Vancouver Business Journal Accomplished and Under 40 honoree, the Metropolitan Senior Network Care Award, and the Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary.
She currently serves on the Caring Closet Board of Directors and the Hope Dementia Support Group Advisory Board.
Sara grew up in Vancouver, Washington and is deeply passionate about supporting seniors and families in the community she calls home.
Families often reach out when they are overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or facing a quick decision. Sara’s role is to guide them through the options and help them feel confident about the next step.
